Rally behind Bawumia to defeat ‘419 NDC’ in 2028 — Afenyo-Markin

The Minority Leader in Parliament, Alexander Kwamena Afenyo-Markin, has accused the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) of misleading Ghanaians and urged supporters of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) to remain united ahead of the 2028 general elections.

Speaking to party supporters at Sefwi-Wiawso in the Western North Region on Saturday, June 20, the Effutu MP called for stronger unity, discipline, and commitment within the NPP as it prepares for future elections.

He also questioned the performance of the NDC government, arguing that it has not fulfilled the promises it made to citizens during the 2024 campaign period.

According to him, the NDC cannot succeed unless the opposition is divided, and he therefore encouraged party members and supporters to stay focused and united. He further urged them to closely monitor the government’s performance and stay actively engaged in political discussions at the grassroots level.
