Ghana’s senior national football team, the Black Stars, have arrived in the United States ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The team travelled from Wales after completing a pre-tournament friendly match and will continue their preparations at a training camp in Providence, Rhode Island.
The arrival marks an important step in Ghana’s build-up to the tournament as head coach Carlos Queiroz and his squad focus on fine-tuning tactics, building team chemistry, and ensuring players are fully prepared for the global competition.
The Black Stars recently concluded a training camp in the United Kingdom and played a preparatory match against Wales before heading to the United States. They are expected to play another friendly before the tournament begins.
Ghana has been drawn in Group L alongside England, Croatia, and Panama. The four-time African champions will be aiming to advance beyond the group stage and make a strong impression at their fifth World Cup appearance.
