Presidential Advisor and Special Aide to the President, Joyce Bawah Mogtari, has asserted that Ghana is increasingly positioning itself as a strategic leader on the global stage, reflecting a deliberate shift in the nation’s diplomatic, economic, and foreign policy engagements.
Speaking on the sidelines of the 80th United Nations General Assembly in New York, Mogtari highlighted that President John Dramani Mahama’s recent high-level diplomatic outreach and bilateral discussions underscore a refreshed approach to international governance. She emphasized that Ghana is no longer engaging as a passive participant in global discussions, but as an active partner driving conversations around economic recovery, regional stability, industrial partnerships, and sustainable development across the African continent.
