Across 27 years of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards, only four artistes have won the Artiste of the Year award twice, forming one of the most exclusive achievements in Ghana music.

Next is Sarkodie, who won in 2010 and 2012, cementing his status as one of Africa’s most influential rap artists through consistency and commercial success.
Dancehall artiste Stonebwoy followed with wins in 2015 and 2024, reflecting his longevity and global reach in the music industry.
The most recent addition is Black Sherif, who won in 2023 and again in 2026, becoming the youngest artiste to achieve the milestone.
Together, these four represent rare consistency at the highest level of Ghanaian music, raising the question of who will become the first artiste to win the award three times.
