The 2026 edition of the World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) Ghana has officially been launched in Accra, setting the stage for another season of elite corporate golf and high-level business networking ahead of the national finals in July.
Organisers announced that the National Final will be held on July 10, 2026, at the Achimota Golf Club, where top corporate golfers will compete for the opportunity to represent Ghana at the global finals in Beijing, China.
The World Corporate Golf Challenge is regarded as one of the world’s leading corporate golf tournaments, bringing together executives, entrepreneurs and decision-makers from industries including banking, telecommunications, technology and energy.
The winning Ghanaian team will earn an all-expenses-paid trip to the WCGC World Finals in Beijing, where they will compete against corporate champions from more than 30 countries.
Speaking at the launch, Executive Partner of WCGC Ghana, Catherine Fabbi, highlighted the strategic importance of golf in strengthening business relationships and creating networking opportunities.
She described golf as more than just a recreational activity, noting that it serves as a valuable platform for building partnerships, exchanging ideas and fostering long-term business collaborations.
Organisers also stressed their commitment to inclusivity and the development of the sport, particularly efforts aimed at increasing female participation in corporate golf across Ghana.
Several companies have signed on as sponsors and partners for the 2026 season, including Boab Engineering Services Limited, Landers Oil and Gas, Raju Ghana Ltd, Black Star Group, Office Bureau, Ghandour Cosmetics Ltd, Balfour Beatty, Levotude Ltd and Micasso Tiles, while Metro TV will serve as the headline media partner.
Corporate registration for the tournament is now open, with businesses encouraged to register their executive two-man teams early due to the anticipated high level of participation.
